Chapter 14: Feb Carnival update - Long time NO HERE? Happy Valentines Day

Hi Everyone, sorry for not updating the blog more regularly.

We have been intermittently & sequentially dealing with various
members of the family being ill - there have been flu, colds etc going
around, some quite debilitating!

Of course we punctuate these with various trips to Margao and other
parts of Goa. We are trying to plan some trips around India - if ever
we get time enough!

Time moves at a much slower pace here - and it is scary to think we
have but one more month. I am slowly getting photos ready to download
- Old Goa, Dudh Sagr Waterfalls, VIVA CARNIVAL!

And Bernard is well on his quest to find all 32 great great (great?)
grand parents for the kids - so we are spending alot of time in
various village churches, poring through birth records dating back
well into the 1800s. He has made a lot of family very happy! And
discovered a host of new relatives! (who we will now be visiting)

We had a great time for the beginning of Carnival - before both of us
came down with really bad colds, but Valentine's Day is really not a
big deal here. But to all who will be celebrating it, thanks for
being our Friends!
